Growing up on B.C´s west coast, I spent most of my life back and forth between Vancouver Island and the mainland with my sister in hand. At an early age, we were fortunate to have parents (and grandparents) who showed us different parts of the world and the importance of "giving back". Since then, I've had the privileged to travel, work, volunteer, and study in various regions throughout the world. Along with my experiences in areas of public education, community outreach, environmental stewardship, and sustainable planning, I continue to gain inspiration from the many people and cultures who have shown me true acts of kindness and "compassion". I'd like to share this space as a means to empower and support the tremendous power and positive energy in "giving".
