We support individuals and families by helping with the elders or others who may not find it so easy to navigate the complexities of our world. Many pieces of info are on-line, and available to many, but not necessarily our elders. In many families, children live out of town from their parents and are so deluged with their own work, home, and kids' requirements that they cannot give the time they wished to their own parents and older loved ones. We can help. We have many services that encourage community engagement and participation simply through awareness and support. A small sampling includes: a) reviewing and maintaining record keeping, bill payments, other finances via online computer services such that appropriate individuals can review the data as required b) setting up files for data and info needed now and getting older data either stored or tossed c) creating emergency service listings and other information specific to a location to ensure your family member or friend knows how to seek help in a hurry d) providing a tailored list of upcoming events; costs to participate; who usually goes; how to get there and home -- whatever can be identified to support your loved one in enjoying his or her life e) ad hoc research on new drugs (not any sort of recommendation -- just info!); better to use Time Warner or Dish; DSL or dial-up; Energy Star or not; and much, much more f) a monthly publication that highlights new info from the Government and community resources - free reports one can send for; helpful info on changing laws; things to think about and likely parlay into help for the family
