Maureen C. Berry

I’m Maureen C. Berry, a visual artist and author focusing on watercolors, ink, and occasional mixed media. Recent exhibitions include GIRL ON FIRE, a six-piece watercolor/mixed series with an animated video, and WILD AFRICAN ADVENTURES IN ART, a sixty-four-piece immersive exhibition that includes photography, watercolors, ink, a short wildlife documentary film, and a B-roll video. I’m currently working on an eighteen-piece watercolor series, BIRDS AND BOTANICALS. I’m also writing the fourth draft of my memoir. The central question I’m asking in the book is how a cancer diagnosis helped me understand the importance of alchemizing trauma into strength. I published the SALMON FROM MARKET TO PLATE cookbook and its complimentary podcast/speaking/cooking GREEN FISH BLUE OCEANS. I live in Kentucky with Cooper, the wire fox terrier, and my husband.
